Agriculture Minister Vladimir Bolea got to swear at a journalist at a press conference where he invited journalists to discuss topical issues. He thought nobody heard him, but everybody did. Moreover, the minister apparently believes the journalistic community might forget the incident once he quickly issued an apology, going with just a Facebook post. You see, it happened “because of stress” and he “regrets it tremendously”.
However, let us remind Mr. Bolea that stress is an integral part of working as head of a ministry and is not an excuse to swear at the press, however disturbing the questions may be. Because yes, the media has the role to ask questions and get answers.
